The work was excellent. The portion of the tree removed was directly over a freshly planted bed of flowers, and you can’t tell anything has happened. Great work as usual. ”- Tom A.

Trees Are Leafing Out…What Now?
Spring has sprung here in DFW and we’re enjoying this beautiful weather. Many trees are blooming right now and also beginning to leaf out. We grabbed this shot of a beautiful Cedar Elm pushing out its new leaf buds. The bright chartreuse green leaves contrast beautifully with our blue spring sky.
You should keep an eye on your trees as they leaf out. This is often the time when spring and summer diseases will start to kick in. Bacterial leaf scorch on cedar elms should be treated for now, as well as preventative treatments for oak wilt and fire blight.
With the heavy ice storms we had this winter, you may also discover that your trees have lingering damage. Special pruning may be required to prevent further injury.
